Author Guidelines

Before submitting your manuscript to Humanities & Language: International Journal of Linguistics, Humanities, and Education (Humaniola), please read the following guidelines carefully:

1. Submission

  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the online system.

  • Authors need to register as an Author.

  • If you face any technical difficulties, please contact the Editorial Office via email (editor@amedialiterasi.com) or WhatsApp.

2. Manuscript Requirements

  • Manuscripts must present original research or studies in the fields of Humanities, Linguistics, or Education, and must not be previously published in any journal.

  • Manuscripts must be written in English with clear and correct grammar.

  • Authors are required to use the journal’s official template (download [here]).

3. Formatting

  • File format: Microsoft Word (A4 size).

  • Margins: Top 2 cm, Bottom 2 cm, Left 3 cm, Right 3 cm.

  • Font: Calibri, 12 pt, single spacing, single-column layout.

  • Use only MS Word standard features (bold, italics, superscripts, equations, etc.).

4. Structure of Manuscript

A complete manuscript should include:

  1. Title, Author Name(s), Author Affiliation(s), and Corresponding Author Information

    • Title must be concise and informative (avoid abbreviations or uncommon formulas).

    • Author names written in full (without titles) with superscripts for affiliations.

    • Corresponding author details must include full address, email, and phone number.

  2. Abstract and Keywords

    • Abstract length: 150–250 words, written concisely (Calibri Light, 10 pt).

    • Must include research aims, methods, main results, and conclusion.

    • Provide up to 6 keywords, separated by commas.

  3. Introduction

    • Background of study, literature review, and research objectives.

  4. Research Methods / Model Development

    • Describe materials and methods in sufficient detail for reproducibility.

    • For model development: explain the model and evaluation methods.

  5. Results and Discussion

    • Present findings systematically, supported by comprehensive discussion.

    • Figures and tables should be placed in the appendix, with references in the text.

  6. Conclusions

    • Summarize the main findings clearly and concisely.

  7. Acknowledgments (optional)

  8. List of Notations (if any)

  9. References

    • Follow APA 7th edition citation style.

    • Examples:

5. Ethical Statement

  • Submissions must follow ethical standards: originality, no plagiarism, and proper citations.

  • Authors are responsible for accuracy and integrity of their work.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
