Journal History

Humanities & Language: International Journal of Linguistics, Humanities, and Education (HUMANIOLA) is a scholarly journal published by Abdul Media Literasi, based in Indonesia, in collaboration with the Dewan Kesenian Aceh Tamiang (Art Council of Aceh Tamiang Regency, Indonesia). HUMANIOLA launched its inaugural issue in December 2023. The journal is scheduled for quarterly publication each year.

To address the numbering of issues in Volume 1, HUMANIOLA will publish a total of five issues before December 2024. Following this, Volume 2 will commence in March 2025, marking the beginning of a new annual cycle.

In 2026, HUMANIOLA achieved national accreditation in Indonesia through the Science and Technology Index (SINTA), receiving an accreditation rating of SINTA 3 (S3). This accreditation was formally communicated through the Notification Letter of Journal Accreditation Results No. 862/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, dated July 28, 2026. The accreditation applies to HUMANIOLA from Volume 1 (2023) through Volume 4 (2027), recognizing the journal's adherence to national standards of scholarly publishing and its continued development as an academic platform in the fields of linguistics, humanities, and education.
