Analysis of Students' Understanding of the Development of Indonesian Language Teaching Modules Using the PjBL Model as an Implementation of Deep Learning
Abstract: This study aims to analyze students' understanding and ability to design Indonesian language teaching modules for seventh-grade junior high school by integrating Project-Based Learning (PjBL), the Differentiated Approach, and deep learning principles. The integration of these three frameworks is essential to meet the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum, which prioritizes project-based learning and responsiveness to diverse student needs. However, their simultaneous application still raises questions regarding practical implementation, particularly in teacher preparation. The study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a project-based approach. Data were obtained from teaching modules produced by 72 fourth-semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at FKIP Untan. An observation sheet with a checklist technique served as the research instrument, and the data were analyzed using percentage analysis to determine students' mastery across module components...

Differentiation of Lexical Units in Languages with Different Systems According to Their Linguocultural Characteristics
Abstract: Language is a system of certain signs, and some of the units in this system are considered to be complex lexical units. Complex lexical units are formed syntactically, their components consist of two or more words. This type of lexical units is not just a linguistic unit. Each of them reflects a certain concept and has cognitive properties. The components in the composition of complex lexical units are formed with each other both with and without semantic connection. The components of complex lexical units formed syntactically in the Azerbaijani and English languages create a new word when the semantics of the components in them are different, similar, identical, or antonymous. Although the lexical units in these types of expressions in both languages already exist in our language as simple and compound words, they are already realized in a new state and semantics in the composition of a complex expression.....
