About the Journal
Humanities & Language (HUMANIOLA): International Journal of Linguistics, Humanities, and Education is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Abdul Media Literasi. e-ISSN: 3031-5670.
Aims and Scope
HUMANIOLA publishes high-quality original research articles, conceptual papers, and book reviews that advance scholarship in the intersection of linguistics, humanities, and education. The journal specifically focuses on, but is not limited to:
- Applied Linguistics: Second language acquisition, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, translation studies
- Humanities: Cultural studies, literature, philosophy, history, religious studies
- Language Education: Pedagogy, curriculum development, language policy, technology-enhanced language learning
Interdisciplinary studies bridging these three fields are particularly encouraged.
Publication Frequency
HUMANIOLA is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Each issue contains 5-10 articles.
Peer Review Policy
All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. The review process takes 6-10 weeks. The journal adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines on publication ethics.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
Indexing
The journal is currently being evaluated for inclusion in Scopus, WOS, DOAJ and other international databases.
Submission
Submissions are open year-round. Manuscripts must be written in English, follow the Author Guidelines, and use the provided manuscript template. All articles represent the views of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal or the publisher.
