Manuscript Types
Humanities & Language: International Journal of Linguistics, Humanities, and Education (HUMANIOLA) accepts original research articles and book reviews that contribute to scholarly discussions in linguistics, humanities, education, and related interdisciplinary fields. All submissions must align with the journal's aims and scope, demonstrate academic rigor, and comply with the journal's submission guidelines.
1. Research Articles
HUMANIOLA welcomes original research articles that present substantial and previously unpublished scholarly findings. Research articles should address relevant research questions, employ appropriate theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches, and provide a clear analysis and interpretation of the findings.
Submissions may employ qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches, as appropriate to the research objectives and disciplinary context. The journal also welcomes empirical studies and theoretically informed analyses that offer meaningful contributions to linguistics, humanities, education, and interdisciplinary scholarship.
Research articles should clearly articulate their research objectives, methodological procedures, findings, and contributions to existing knowledge. Manuscripts must demonstrate originality, methodological or analytical rigor, and engagement with relevant scholarly literature.
2. Book Reviews
HUMANIOLA accepts critical and analytical reviews of scholarly books relevant to linguistics, humanities, education, and related interdisciplinary fields. Book reviews should provide an informative overview of the book's main arguments, theoretical perspectives, organization, and contributions to the relevant field of study.
In addition to summarizing the book's content, reviewers are expected to offer a balanced critical evaluation of its strengths, limitations, scholarly significance, and relevance to ongoing academic discussions. Book reviews should be analytical rather than merely descriptive and should be written in a clear, objective, and scholarly manner.
Submissions should provide complete bibliographic information about the book under review, including its author or editor, title, publisher, year of publication, and ISBN or DOI where available. Reviews of books that make a significant contribution to the journal's areas of interest are particularly encouraged.
General Submission Requirements
All manuscripts must be original, written in English, and prepared in accordance with HUMANIOLA's Author Guidelines and manuscript template. Submissions must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication in another journal or publication venue.
All submissions are subject to an initial editorial assessment to determine their relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with submission requirements, originality, and overall scholarly quality. Manuscripts that meet these requirements may proceed to the journal's peer-review process in accordance with its editorial policies.
HUMANIOLA does not accept manuscripts that fall outside the two categories specified above. Authors are encouraged to review the journal's aims and scope and submission guidelines before submitting their work.
