Ownership and Management Information

Journal Ownership

Humanities & Language: International Journal of Linguistics, Humanities, and Education (HUMANIOLA) is an academic, peer-reviewed, open-access journal owned and published by Abdul Media Literasi. The journal was established in 2023 in collaboration with the Art Council of Aceh Tamiang Regency (Dewan Kesenian Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang).

HUMANIOLA provides a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research and critical book reviews in linguistics, humanities, education, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal operates with a commitment to academic integrity, editorial independence, and the responsible dissemination of scholarly knowledge.

Journal Management

HUMANIOLA is managed by an editorial team responsible for maintaining the journal's academic standards, overseeing manuscript evaluation, coordinating peer review, and managing the publication process. The journal's management structure includes an Editor-in-Chief, a Managing Editor, and other editorial personnel whose responsibilities are defined by their respective roles.

The Editor-in-Chief provides academic leadership and oversees editorial decisions, ensuring that manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's aims and scope, scholarly merit, and publication ethics policies. The Managing Editor coordinates editorial operations and supports the implementation of the journal's publication schedule and editorial procedures.

Editorial board members and reviewers contribute their disciplinary expertise to the evaluation of submissions and the maintenance of publication quality.

Editorial Independence

Ownership and editorial decision-making are distinct responsibilities. While the publisher provides the administrative and operational framework for the journal, editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and the outcome of the peer-review process.

Neither the publisher's commercial interests nor external institutional or personal considerations should determine whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected. Editors are expected to exercise independent academic judgment and to manage any competing interests that may affect their decisions.

Transparency and Accountability

HUMANIOLA is committed to transparent journal governance and clearly defined editorial responsibilities. Information about the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, editorial board, publisher, and relevant contact details is made available through the journal's official website.

The journal periodically reviews its editorial and management practices to support responsible publishing, maintain public confidence, and uphold recognized standards of scholarly communication.

For information about the journal's editorial team, publication policies, and submission procedures, readers and prospective authors are encouraged to consult the relevant sections of the HUMANIOLA website.
